This water often includes soap film, hair, dead skin, body oil, dirt, and feces. These pathogens then come rushing out of the pipes, into the air and the “clean” bathwater. This design has proven to be effective and very popular. Not only are pipe-less whirlpool systems are more sanitary, they are usually much quieter when operating, making for a more relaxing spa experience. There are several types brands of pipe-less pumps out on the market today but they all work based on the same principle of placing the motor and water pump directly behind the water jet thereby making it “pipe-less”. Many people ask if there needs to be plumbing set up with pipe-less chairs for them to operate. The term pipe-less only refers to the how water is circulated within the tub.
